Theme of the Week: Bugs
Here are activity suggestions to encourage speech and language development. Below is the vocabulary for the current theme.
Activities for facilitating vocabulary development:
Child can point to a picture you name.
Child can label pictures.
Child can point to picture you described (apple= something you eat; it’s red; it grows on a tree)
Child can give a simple description of picture.
Child can generalize label of picture to objects in the environment.

Refer help_with_articulation.pdf
Activities for facilitating language development:
Answer wh- questions at bottom of theme handout.
Ask other questions about the pictures.
Draw connections between school and home.
Read other books related to theme.
